For Childcare Professionals
The WNY Family Care Consortium provides affordable
training to child care providers, day care center staff, and family
child care professionals to enhance the quality of child care programs
in the local community.
Membership in Provider Networks
Becoming a participating provider in the WNY Family
Care Consortium program network is EASY!
The Synergy Group invites you to
join the 200 providers already participating in Just Around the Corner
a unique program serving 6,000 working families.
Just Around the Corner offers workers from the WNY Family Care Consortium member companies special deals and cost savings at participating regulated childcare homes and centers located in their own neighborhoods.
Participation as a Just Around the Corner provider will benefit your program through marketing exposure to the WNYFCC workforce. Your program will be advertised, at no cost to you, in a directory distributed to WNYFCC employees throughout the year so that families can make childcare arrangements at a Just Around the Corner location.
Participating providers and childcare staff are also invited to attend a variety of interactive training workshops offered in Western New York throughout the year. Or, if attendance at those workshops is inconvenient for you, you can enhance your professional development through our affordable independent learning modules. You can take advantage of these discounts immediately. Register as a participating J.A.C. provider, and you are automatically eligible for level 2 fees.
There are three levels of fees for training workshops and independent study modules. Your fee is determined by your program’s status in the Just Around the Corner (JAC) network program.
It is FREE to be part of the JAC network. We just ask that you extend some level of special consideration to WNYFCC families who enroll children in your program. You decide on the special value or discount. Our provider registration form gives you lots of choices. When you sign up for JAC, you automatically move to Level 2 in the fee structure – a huge savings for you and your staff!
Level #1: Participates in the JAC network and reports WNYFCC** children enrolled in their program
Workshop fee = $5.00
Independent module fee = $5.00 / certificate
Level #2: Participates in JAC but reports NO WNYFCC children enrolled in their program
Workshop fee = $15.00
Independent module fee = $7.00 / certificate
Level #3: Does NOT participate in JAC network
Workshop fee = $25.00
Independent module fee = $10.00 / certificate
Payment due prior to workshop date, or must accompany independent study module homework submitted for review. A certificate will not be issued without payment. Payment must be made by check or money order, payable to The Synergy Group.
Because WNYFCC employees live in communities all across the region, we would like to include YOU on the list of Just Around the Corner providers. It’s simple! You offer WNYFCC employees special cost savings as an incentive to enroll in your program - waived registration fees, tuition discounts on full- or part-time care, free days - the level of consideration is entirely up to you. Your enrollment may grow and you get FREE advertising and affordable training options! It’s a win-win situation for everyone!
To become a member in Just Around the Corner, call (716) 639-8500. Signing up is easy!
As a participating provider, we’ll be in touch with you by phone, fax, and e-mail. We will send you information regarding WNYFCC employee eligibility, ask you to let us know if Consortium families are using your program, inform you of upcoming training opportunities, and more!
